Preparing for the launching

We are currently preparing for the launching of the new INTI Federated Services, where we will be linking up all 10 campuses in Malaysia and Indonesia. With the launch, all INTI users from these campuses will be able to access Wireless facilities, Learning Management Systems, Google Apps, Scriblio Library, DSpace Repositories and Blogging services.

Each of the INTI users will be assigned a new INTI Account, where all access to these new services will all be authenticated via this new INTI Account.

    The http address “http://link.inti.edu.my” sounds unprofessional!

    Some recommendations:

    associate.inti.edu.my

    The website name “INTIIink” is confusing because it could also sound like “INTInk” where the three letters after INT could be mistaken as three i’s.

    Maybe the name “INTIlink” could be changed to “INTIUnite” or “INTIunite”.

    Administrator > The INTI Federated Service can start be using since 29 May 2009. At this moment, only few of the services (Google Apps, Library and etc) are available for students. WiFi will be integrated with INTI Link Account within one week. More services will be added to INTI Link in the future.
